Counties covered: Primarily Shelby, Fayette, and Tipton, with adjacent inclusion of Haywood, Lauderdale, Madison, Hardeman.

Mission: Drive Electric Memphis is a group of electric vehicle enthusiasts educating and advocating for choice in vehicle ownership and charging options.

Story: The Mid-South EV Club has operated for more than 10 years and managed events in the greater Memphis area during the initial period of EV growth. A new initiative in 2024 led to the development of Drive Electric Memphis, which will partner with and build upon the great initiatives the EV club has done to increase EV awareness and education throughout the area.
