EV DRIVERS: Take our 2023 EV Usage Survey

Plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) are a growing sector of Tennessee’s transportation landscape. With more than 34,000 PEVs on the road in Tennessee today, understanding how & where electric vehicles are used is essential to better predicting how Tennessee’s transportation future will be affected by electric technology.

DriveElectricTN and TNCleanFuels, two statewide initiatives supported by many stakeholders, are undertaking a large-scale survey of PEV owners across Tennessee. Your data is integral to understanding how Tennessee’s electric transportation landscape is changing. Your data will be anonymized and your information will never be sold. It will be utilized in the following ways:

• By DriveElectricTN, to provide insights on PEV use across the state
• By TNCleanFuels, as part of their annual data collection about alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies use across Tennessee

• In which counties are Tennessee’s PEVs located?
• What models of EVs are most common / most popular in Tennessee?
• How many kWh did Tennessee PEVs consume in 2023?
• What is the distribution of PEVs in Tennessee by production model year?
• What is the approximate percentage of families in Tennessee that own more than one EV?
• How much do Tennessee PEV owners pay to travel one mile, compared to ICE vehicle owners?
